Lesson Plan: How Can I...Make a Tough Decision?

Teens often face choices that will impact them for the rest of their lives. This actionfocused advice from an expert will give them a tool to use when they’re faced with a tough decision.

APPLYING NEW SKILLS

After reading the article, have students use the DECISION-MAKING GRID to consider an important decision they’re facing, such as choosing a college, joining a club, or picking a job. They’ll practice writing out the pros and cons, and then will answer reflection questions about the activity.
